IE Master in Real Estate Development, accredited by RICS

The MRED can now offer an accredited program associated with a leading professional standards organization in land, property and the built environment.

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) has accredited the IE Master in Real Estate Development (MRED), enabling IE School of Architecture and Design graduates to apply for the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC). RICS delivers confidence through respected global standards, adopted and enforced by over 134,000 qualified and trainee professionals across the built and natural environment.

“RICS is proud to welcome a second programme from the IE family into our network, another that is relevant to a career in surveying and that supports routes to professional qualification. RICS looks forward to further developing the relationship with the MRED, and we are excited to see what the future holds for our collaboration,” said Jill Behrens, RICS Education Qualification Standards Team Executive.

“RICS accreditation has been a great achievement for the MRED: it is industry-wide and an opportunity for our students to enhance their career opportunities and to access the best professional guidance and latest technologies.”

Carmen Panadero, Co Director of the Master in Real Estate Development

RICS accreditation is a globally recognized standard and means that MRED can now offer an accredited program associated with a leading professional standards organization in land, property and the built environment.
