Professional Experience

Aerospace Engineer, with a passion for scientific computing, applied math, education and outreach. My most important personal project is poliastro, a pure Python library for preliminary orbital mechanics computations, developed using the best of breed open source technology and quality assurance tools. It’s the perfect combination of the things that I love: astrodynamics and open source coding.

In my spare time I evangelize about F/OSS software in scientific computing and academia, especially the Python programming language. I am the chair of the Python España association, which intends to consolidate the community around the language in Spain.
