Sarto Blouin

Sarto has been practicing law for 42 years and is also a serial entrepreneur and professor. He has performed many international academic roles, teaching advanced real estate law at Université de Montréal, negotiation skills at Baghdad Business School and arbitration at Chamber of Notaries, to name a few. Sarto is also an active member of multiple boards of directors, including Quebec Cancer Foundation, Quebec Construction Association, Urban Development Institute and Quebec Humanist Foundation.

When he is not sharing his passion for knowledge, Sarto travels the world and chronicles his encounters and discoveries—he’s visited more than 120 countries so far. Sometimes off the beaten track, in unusual geopolitical regions, and often in less tourist-oriented countries, he is always seeking new adventures and challenges.

On his own behalf, Sarto buys properties in opportunity zones and redevelops them. A major project is the site of the former Montreal Children’s Hospital, completely rebranded into a billion-dollar mixed-use site in the final phase of construction.

In addition, Sarto often acts privately on behalf of individuals, corporations or governments by confidentially negotiating the acquisition of real estate properties and assisting them through the due diligence process up to closing.
