IE University and Sciences Po students shared educational activities

A group of a hundred and seventy students from the French University Sciences Po shared academic activities with other fellow students from the IE University in Segovia and in Madrid as part of the winter school program that the French higher education center holds in Spain.

The event that took place last 19th of January was inaugurated in Madrid by the Counselor Minister of the French Embassy in Spain, Cyrille Rogeau, the Dean of IE International Relations School Arantza de Areilza and the Director of the Euro-Latin-American campus of Poitiers , Tilman Turpin.

The opening conference was hosted by Daniel Kselman, Academic Director and professor at the IE School of International Relations. He explained to the students the most important challenges of the democracy of the XXI century.

Later on, the students got the opportunity to visit the IE Univeristy in Madrid followed by a visit to the campus in Segovia, located at the olden Santa Cruz la Real Convent. Along with the Sciences Po students,  IE University International Relations students also joined in a handful of workshops organized by the IE professors of this degree. These workshops comprised various topics based on international current affairs such as the social entrepreneurship, the present economic crisis, the role of the international interference in armed conflicts, environmental politics,  Arabic transactions and the future of Islamic politics.
