IE University holds #IEGraduation ceremony at the IE Tower for 700 students from more than 70 countries

This week, IE University celebrated the graduation of 700 students, hailingfrom more than 70 countries, from the master’s programs of IE Business School, IE Law School,and IE School of Technology.

The graduation ceremonies were held at the IE Tower, the academic institution's new technological and sustainable campus in Madrid, and attended by leading figures from the business and institutional worlds, all of them IE University alumni, who shared their experience with the students. Among them were Her Royal Highness Princess Noor bint Asem, a member of the IE University International Advisory Board; Claire Pérez Redondo, a member of the IE US Fund and PCES Director for International Civilian & Military Transportation & Networks; Philipp Pausder, Founder & CEO of Thermondo GmbH; Consuelo Prieto, a Partner at Kearney; and Stathis Triphyllis, founder of Kledora. The graduation ceremony was broadcast via streaming and followed online by IE University students, graduates, faculty, and staff around the world.

The #IEGraduation was held for the first time in the auditorium of the IE Tower. The IE Tower is IE University’s new 35-story, 50,000-square-meter vertical campus, the third tallest in the world and the highest in Europe, which was inaugurated last October by Spain’s King Felipe VI. The IE Tower has spaces for technological immersion, virtual reality and artificial intelligence, 64 classrooms with flexible configurations and 30 unique spaces that encourage interaction, innovation and creativity, as well as open areas to promote social and cultural life. The IE Tower also hosts a Venture Lab to accelerate the creation of startups, a FabLab to develop architecture and design projects, and a 600-seat auditorium.
