IE University organizes an international forum of experts in accounting and management control

Fifty experts from different parts of the world will gather in Segovia on February 2 and 3 to discuss research in the field of accounting and management control. IE University and IE Business School organize the twenty-seventh edition of the Workshop on Accounting and Management Control "Memorial Raymond Konopka" an event of international reference for researchers  interested in the development of accounting and business processes aimed to meet the objectives of organizations.

The papers that have been presented in previous editions of the workshop have subsequently been published in leading journals on the subject worldwide. It is therefore the most important forum for researchers interested in organizational and social aspects of accounting systems.

The specialists who will meet at IE University include the director of the Department of Accounting at HEC Paris, Carlos Ramírez, a distinguished academic on all matters relating to accounting and auditing studies, and Stephen P. Walker, Head of the Accounting History Review magazine, the world's leading expert in the field of accounting history. The Rector of IE University Salvador Carmona, Editor of European Accounting Review, member of the Executive Committee of the European Accounting Association and President of the Academy of Accounting Historians will also take part of the event.
