IE University will run two new bachelor degree programs in International Relations and Finance

IE University is to extend its program portfolio for the upcoming 2012/2013 academic year with new bachelor degrees in Finance and International Relations, as well as running sections of its Bachelor in Business Administration and its Dual Degree in Business Administration and Law at Madrid.

The new degree titles will form part of IE’s current portfolio of degrees in Business Administration, Architecture, Biology, Communication, Law and Psychology. Thus the University will further strengthen its education model, renowned for its global, humanistic and flexible approach, with a special focus on shaping future entrepreneurs.

International Relations and Finance

IE’s Bachelor in International Relations offers an integral and practical education that combines political science, economy, international law and business administration, under the aegis of IE School of Arts and Humanities.

The Bachelor in Finance permits students to understand the changes taking place in the finance system on a global level, and their ramifications. The degree program has been developed based on the experience of IE Business School, which achieved 3rd position worldwide in the Financial Times ranking of Masters in Finance. Furthermore, various international institutions, including the CFA Institute, the global association of professional investors, recognize it as one of the best schools in the world in the field of finance.

The first two years of these two new English-taught degree programs will be taught at the Segovia campus, and the following two years in Madrid.

“The objective of this expansion in our program portfolio is to attract new talent from Spain and worldwide and to play a key role in preparing future generations of graduates to Foster change in their fields of specialization”, says Salvador Carmona, Rector of IE University.

At present, over 60% of IE University students are from outside Spain. Its faculty comprises professors with international profiles, who teach over 1,000 students from 75 countries around the world.
