You will be required to complete your capstone project and encouraged to participate in internships and exchange programs.

Our Bachelor in Applied Mathematics is a demanding program designed to position students at the forefront of innovation, where the need for mathematicians is expected to rise 33% in the next 10 years.

At IE School of Science and Technology, we equip students with the skills to apply mathematics to any discipline they feel passionate about, like the environment, health, finance, or new technologies.

The program has been crafted by our faculty with the goal of putting together a hands-on, balanced curriculum where students cultivate analytical and abstract thinking skills while merging intuition and local rigor. Our Advisory Board composed of world-leading mathematicians ensures the program's quality.

The Bachelor of Applied Mathematics students will explore classical and novel mathematical concepts and apply their knowledge to real-world problems while mastering various programming languages and computational tools.

Our program's methodology is unique – its scope goes beyond traditional math pedagogy. We first introduce concepts with interesting examples or problems and then go through the theory.

The Bachelor in Applied Mathematics is a four-year program designed to give students a distinct edge in their professional careers. Professors instruct students to view the world not only through a mathematical lens but also through an entrepreneurial and social approach, transforming them into industry-shaping professionals.

The first two years will cover core subjects that lay the foundations in theoretical and practical mathematics. These will be complemented by transversal skills like entrepreneurship, communication, and project management.

During the third and fourth years, students can tailor their education by selecting a concentration from the following areas: industrial mathematics, artificial intelligence, and financial mathematics.

They also embark on their Capstone project, which is the culmination of their degree. Many students participate in internships and exchange programs in this final year.

Upon finishing the degree, students are equipped to launch a career in a wide range of sectors, whether they wish to go corporate as a cyber security consultant, become a researcher in artificial intelligence, or work as a robotics expert.
