Current travel alert: Storm Filomena Aftermath
The aftermath of heavy snowfall continues to disrupt business and ground transportation in Madrid. As the snow melts in the coming days, flooding may cause further disruption. The routes of some rail services are delayed, and operations at Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport (MAD) are gradually resuming at terminals T1 T4 & T4S on the road to recovery.

COVID-19: State of Alarm and Update of Measures in Madrid and Castilla y León
With the aim of controlling the spread of the COVID-19-19 virus, the Spanish Government decreed, on October 25, a national State of Alarm.
The measures that have been approved both at the national and regional levels, in Madrid and Castilla y León, do not affect our academic activity, which continues as normal. IE University will inform students, faculty, and staff of any changes, in a fast and transparent manner.

MANDATORY DIAGNOSTIC TESTS TO ENTER SPAIN
Beginning November 23, 2020, all individuals who would like to enter Spain from one of the countries or risk areas listed in this publication of the Official State Bulletin (Boletín Oficial del Estado/BOE) Gazette, must have a Diagnostic Test for Active Infection (PDIA) for SARS-CoV-2 with a negative result, carried out in the 72 hours prior to arrival in Spain. There are two types of PDIA: PCR tests and antigen tests.
