Class Central Ranks IE Business School MOOC among Best Online Courses of All Time

‘Critical Perspectives on Management’ was the first MOOC developed by IE Business School.

IE Business School’s online course Critical Perspectives on Management has been included, once again in Class Central’s yearly ranking of The Best Online Courses of All Time.

Critical Perspectives on Management was the first MOOC developed by IE Business School, released on Coursera in 2014. Taught by IE Business School Professor of Humanities Rolf Strom-Olsen, the course uses a wide disciplinary approach – from economics and history to social theory – and invites students to consider several core management strategies and priorities from often unexpected perspectives in order to judge their success or failure. The key objective of the course is to bring into critical focus the function and culture of management, the role of managers within a firm and how they make decisions, set priorities and benchmark success and failure.

Class Central is a free directory of online university courses that helps users find and track MOOCs and their annual ranking is based on tabulating thousands of user reviews.
