KNOW MORE ABOUT OUR ADMISSIONS PROCESS
The admissions process is a rolling process; therefore there is no deadline to receive applications. Notwithstanding, early application is recommended given the limited number of seats in the program.
The admissions process is opened to working lawyers and other professionals with three years of professional experience. An applicant without a first degree in law may be admitted as a candidate for the Master of Studies in Law (MSL) degree on proof of substantial work experience dealing with legal or regulatory matters.
Online Application form
At www.ie.edu/app, candidates should complete the sections that appear in the online application form and must also upload the following documents:
- Bachelor degree from an accredited university
- Official university transcripts (certified translation into English or Spanish)
- 1 page CV/Resume
- 1 essay
- 2 letters of recommendation
- Photocopy of current passport
- Passport size picture
- Application fee 125 € (non-refundable and payable by credit card or cash)
Note: English will be evaluated during the entire Admissions Process. Should the Admissions team consider that your English level does not reach the required level, you will be asked to take an official English exam.
Once you have submitted your online application and paid the application fee, you will receive a link to answer three live questions, two in video format and one in written format. This way, our admissions team will be able to meet you virtually and evaluate your capacity to respond in real time.
You will have a personal interview (face-to-face or via Skype) with and Associate Director of the Admissions Team.
Admissions Committee Final Decision
The Admissions Department will contact you with the final resolution of your Admissions process. Should it be positive, you will be guided through next steps for your enrollment.
