Skills for Global practice

In an increasingly connected world, lawyers must be equipped with transferable legal, tech and business skills necessary to meet the demands of new clientele, work within diverse teams and become dynamic leaders in their organizations. Initiatives like the Rethinking Law hub provide hands-on experience for this new environment, where students analyze the impact of digital transformation and technology on law firms and in-house legal departments. Likewise, across all specializations, core competencies such as management, leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills are embedded in the program, aiming to prepare students for the new global world of work. The Master of Laws (LL.M.) starts and ends with two self-evaluations, allowing students to better understand the trajectory of their unique learning journey as they develop all the necessary competencies to succeed in their legal field.
