Once you have completed the application form, handed in the documentation, and passed the personal interview, your application, together with a report from your interviewer, is reviewed by the university’s Admissions Committee.
The Admissions Committee is made up of university staff members who will jointly assess your suitability as a candidate.
You will be informed of the Admissions Committee’s decision in writing. If accepted, you will receive one of two admission statuses:
With both types of admission you can pay the reservation fee, guaranteeing yourself a place on your chosen undergraduate program.
Admission to IE University does not necessarily mean you are guaranteed a place on the undergraduate program you have chosen. Places are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, strictly by order of payment.
You can reserve your place by paying a non-refundable reservation fee of €2,000. The documents you need to make this payment will be included in your letter of acceptance (by email). You can also find information about our fees and payment options here.
Please note the place reservation deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. It will be deducted from the total cost of tuition fees for the academic year.
The place reservation will also enable you to obtain a student visa in Spain. You can contact Student Services Department for more information.
