The Admissions Process at IE University is designed to uncover your academic and personal strengths. Our Admissions Department conducts a holistic and comprehensive evaluation of candidates, curating a diverse and globally-minded student community that sets us apart.
Our esteemed programs are tailored with your success in mind, and this extends to our seamless Application Process. Operating on a rolling admissions basis, you have the flexibility to apply to IE University at your convenience. However, given the limited places and the competitiveness of our master’s programs, we recommend starting your application as soon as possible.

FOUR - STEP ADMISSIONS PROCESS
START APPLICATION FORM
Kickstart your online application by filling out the form and uploading your CV, transcripts, diploma, references, and a personal statement in any format that highlights your strengths. Submit proof of English proficiency if required.
*Please refer to your program-specific page for details on the admission process for the program of your choice.
ADMISSIONS TEST
Applicants must take the IE Global Admissions Test (ieGAT), GMAT, or GRE, with some programs accepting other tests*. Start by completing 25% of the application form and paying the application fee.

ONLINE ASSESSMENT
After submitting your application, complete a 10-minute virtual assessment with timed questions. This is your chance to showcase your personality, communication skills, and quick-thinking abilities. A practice round is available to help you prepare.
PERSONAL INTERVIEW
If you meet all the requirements after completing your application, we will invite you to an interview with an Admissions Manager.
You will receive your admission decision via email within two weeks.

SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS DURING THE ADMISSIONS PROCESS
Offering equal learning opportunities to our students is our priority. Providing the necessary means for an adequate expression of knowledge is fundamental in how we approach diversity. IE University offers a series of special adjustments for students with SEN (Special Educational Needs) throughout the application and or the duration of your studies. Please remember to contact the Functional Diversity Department if you would like to apply for accommodations once you are officially enrolled.

When can I start my application?
We operate on a rolling admissions basis, allowing you to apply at your convenience without deadlines. However, we recommend applying at least a few months before your program starts, as places are limited.

Do I need to complete the GMAT to apply to IE University?
We accept several admissions tests, including the GMAT, GRE, and our internal entrance exam, the IE Global Admissions Test (ieGAT). Please refer to your program-specific page for details on which test is most appropriate for your program.

When will I receive a resolution from IE University after I submit my application?
After you complete the interview stage, the Admissions Committee will thoroughly review your application. You will receive an admission decision via email within 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the volume of applications we receive. On average, the Admissions Process takes about a month.
