ADMISSIONS TEST
Admissions Test
STEPS IN YOUR ADMISSION PROCESS
Above all, it centers on your ability to reason, rather than knowledge of actual information. This means you don’t have to study for the test beforehand to pass it successfully. It also evaluates your English level.
This rigorous exam is a flexible alternative to other standardized tests. Below you will find the minimum results we accept from standardized tests:
SAT: 1200 | ACT: 24 | LNAT: 22
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and the subsequent instructions issued by authorities, IE University has decided to give all of our candidates the opportunity to complete the entire application process online. Regardless of where you are in the world, we will provide an efficient way for you to stay safe without having to put your future on hold.
Therefore the IE University Admissions Test will be delivered exclusively online.
*Visiting students are not required to take the test.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT THE TEST:

SCORED FOR SUCCESS
The IE University Admissions Test scoring system is tailored to reflect the profile of our successful students. The test is scored using a comparative Gauss curve to match abilities and skills to those of top students across all of IE University’s different programs. As the test adapts to a candidates’ individual response level, it not only ensures a precise measurement on all performance levels but also offers a challenging experience for every single candidate.

PRACTICAL EXAM
Rather than academic material that can be studied prior to the examination, the test helps determine a test taker’s ability to process information and think logically. Since it does not focus on specific knowledge, no preparation is required. We do suggest however, for you to rest the night before the exam.
