Johanna Glauber

Johanna Glauber is an Assistant Professor in the Strategy Department at IE University. Professor Glauber holds a PhD in Management from Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich and an MSc and BSc in Industrial Engineering.

Professor Glauber conducts research on organizations’ adaptation toward safer and more sustainable products and practices. For instance, her work investigates how organizational structure facilitates or hinders organizations’ adaptation toward less hazardous products, reduced toxic waste, or environmental pollution. Professor Glauber further studies firms’ non-market strategies and impression management related to these practices.

At IE Business School, Professor Glauber teaches Strategic Management. Previously, she has been teaching at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich and EM Lyon, and her teaching expertise covers a broad variety of strategy topics, such as managerial economics, innovation, competitive strategy, and sustainability strategy.
