Carmen Cerezo obtained a Degree and Master in Architecture from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid) in 1987, where she has been teaching Mathematics since 1987. She is Assistant Professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics, teaching “Affine and Projective Geometry” and “Calculus” at the undergraduate program. She is currently the Academic Coordinator of “Calculus”.

From 2016 to present she has been a regular Adjunct Professor of Mathematics at IE University.

She has over 10 years of research experience in variety of fields such as Geophysical Process Modelling and Topology and Geometrical Decoration in Architecture, in which she began a Doctoral Thesis.
