Imge Kaya-Sabanci
I am a PhD candidate in Management at IE Business School. My research interests span across the areas of women entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial investment, and social entrepreneurship. I am affiliated with IE Business & Society Research Group comprised of scholars seeking to understand the role and impact of business on society. I teach “Social Entrepreneurship” and act as thesis advisor to BBA students.
Prior to IE, I worked for Goldman Sachs and EY, managing their international women entrepreneurship programs in several regions including Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa. I have advisory roles in and partnerships with social policymakers, international organizations, private sector, NGOs, and universities.
"Getting rigorous training in research, working with and being mentored by world-renowned scholars at IE enable us to produce impactful research, and grow and flourish intellectually. It’s a pleasure and a privilege to be part of the PhD program and the academic community at IE."
