About me

While reading this text, approximately 353,120 tons of CO² are being emitted—an escalating trend, despite 1,046,580 individuals actively protesting daily to combat climate change. In addressing the paradox between increasing sustainable activism and deteriorating environmental performance, the core focus of my investigation lies in the psychology of sustainable consumption, unravelling the complexities of how consumers feel, think, and decide in this realm. Employing experimental designs, my methodological approach rigorously scrutinizes the root causes of behaviour, delving into the essence of human psychology. My research findings have been disseminated at distinguished conferences, workshops, and symposia, including AMA Academic Winter Conference. My commitment extends to the realm of education, where I have accrued teaching and supervising experience at the undergraduate, executive, and doctoral levels.

Before enrolling in the doctoral program, I gained a decade of marketing-related professional experience, overseeing intricate projects at the confluence of marketing analytics and brand strategy. Complementing this, I hold an M.Sc. from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management and an MBA from IE Business School, where I have been acknowledged on the Dean’s List and distinguished as Poets&Quants Best and Brightest.

When I am not analysing data or reviewing theory, I find joy in connecting mind and body through the practice of yoga or hiking the world’s verdant landscapes. My cultural passion has led to fluency in five languages and residence in five countries spanning two continents. LinkedIn Profile
