IE Business School at No. 3 in Bloomberg Businessweek 2012 Ranking of International MBA Programs
According to the latest Bloomberg Businessweek's biennial ranking, IE Business School is third amongst international programs.
IE Business School's full-time International MBA is a 13 month program taught in both English and Spanish (with bilingual opportunities) and is designed for professionals who average five years work experience and are seeking an intense learning opportunity in a major European capital. The student body hails from around the world. This year, the International MBA program includes 87 percent foreign students from 76 countries. The diverse campus, combined with IE’s innovative and entrepreneurially focused curriculum, results in a truly unique MBA experience that prepares students to become the globally-minded leaders of tomorrow.
The Bloomberg Businessweek ranking further consolidates IE Business School’s position in the field (see the School’s position in other business school rankings here.)
In addition to the International MBA, IE Business School now offers the new Executive MBA+ and Global MBA+ programs which enable students to design their MBA + a la carte. These programs integrate part-time MBA education in management with a specialization module in Global Management, Global Advanced Management, Corporate Finance, Information Technology, Marketing & Sales, Tourism Management, Sports Management, Biotechnology Management and Digital Marketing. With these new masters, IE Business School now offers more than 100 possible combinations in studying an MBA.

About the ranking methodology:
The Bloomberg Businessweek ranking is based on three elements: a survey of newly minted MBAs, a poll of corporate recruiters, and an evaluation of faculty research output. The MBA survey, which measures satisfaction with all aspects of the b-school experience, is combined with two previous MBA surveys. The corporate poll, which asks recruiters to identify the schools that produce the best graduates, is also combined with two previous recruiter surveys. Finally, Bloomberg Businessweek tallies the number of articles published by each school's faculty in 20 top journals and reviews of their books in three national publications. The total for faculty size is then adjusted and an intellectual-capital rating is assigned for each school. The MBA surveys and the recruiter polls each contribute 45% to the final ranking, with the intellectual-capital ranking contributing the final 10%.
The top 30 U.S. schools and top 10 international programs are highlighted in the November 19-25 print issue of Bloomberg Businessweek.
