IE Business School and Palgrave MacMillan sign a collaboration agreement

The overriding objective of the agreement is to create a vehicle to transmit the results of intense and productive research by IE's faculty to a broader audience. The initiative will serve to consolidate IE's position as a leading international school in terms of innovation, while strengthening Palgrave's quality in the field of academic publications.

The school has set up a publishing committee headed by Professor Oswaldo Lorenzo, who has extensive research experience. Lorenzo will evaluate and coordinate book projects jointly with IE Publishing Department, the Vice Dean's Office for Research, area directors and faculty members specialized in the different academic disciplines.

The committee will work to build the IE Business Publishing brand by evaluating projects and approving those that encompass the key components of innovation, entrepreneurial perspective, academic rigorand practical approach to business.

As a result of the agreement several books are currently underway authored by Santiago Íñiguez, Dean of IE Business School, Celia de Anca, Director of the Diversity Center and Oswaldo Lorenzo, Professor of Management for IE Business School. The books are set to be published during the first semester of 2011.
