IE Business School’s Master in Management program holds the No. 9 position in the world in the ranking published today by Financial Times. Students in this year’s Master in Management come from a total of 56 countries and are starting out on their careers.

The program equips participants with a solid understanding of management and offers specializations in the fields of marketing and sales, digital business, international business, financial management and control, and integrated marketing communications, all of which serve to help graduates access the labor market.

The MIM responds to the demands of recruiters by combining a broad vision of business realities with specialization and an international focus. As a result, over 90% of graduates seeking employment are working within three months of completing the program, in sectors that include financial services(14%), consulting (15%) and consumer goods (32%).The Master in Management has two annual intakes starting in September and February, and runs for 10 months in English, Spanish or bilingual format.  The“Integrated Marketing Communications”specialization was developed in collaboration with McCann Worldgroup. The module became available in the previous academic year and is aimed at young professionals who want to map a career in creative agencies, media agencies, brand consulting or communication firms.

Martin Boehm, Dean of Programs at IE Business School, believes the rankings of the Financial Times have shown over the years that IE’s Master in Management students are well prepared to reach senior positions in global organizations. “It seems the international focus of our program as well as the international environment created on campus provide our students with the necessary global vision to lead very successful international careers. In addition to this our hands-on methodology equips them with the necessary skills to assume management responsibility at a very early stage in their career. This year the program holds the No. 2 position worldwide in the Career Rank category, which reflects the senior profile of our graduates three years after completing the program.”
