Elsa is a Past President of Universidad del Pacífico, where she works as a full-time professor in the field of Business Administration and is a member of the Research Center. She holds a doctorate in Economics and Business Sciences from Deusto University and an MBA from IE Business School (Spain), as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidad del Pacífico (Perú). She is a Certified Ontological Business Coach by Newfield Consulting- ECORE (Chile).

Her areas of expertise are strategic management, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, leadership and talent management. She is a lecturer, researcher and consultant in the fields of organization, human management, CSR, gender management and inclusive businesses, about which she has several publications. In addition, she belongs to the international research team of the Social Enterprise Knowledge Network (SEKN) and is a Visiting Researcher at the Center for Diversity at IE, in Spain.

She is a board member at Scotiabank Peru and at the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Peru, as well as a member of the Advisory Council at the Peruvian subsidiaries of Llorente y Cuenca and Ayuda en Acción.

At Universidad del Pacífico, she has held positions of Dean of the Graduate School, General Manager, Director of the Management Development Center and Chief of the Business Academic Department. For several years she was a Member of the AACSB International Initial Accreditation Committee, and Member of the Board of the Peruvian Association of Human Resources (APERHU) and Perú 2021.

She has ranked as Outstanding leader in the 2019 edition of the G-de-Gestión business magazine and has achieved prominent positions in the 2017 and 2018 Top 100 Peruvian Leaders General Ranking (MERCO Survey) and the Digital CEOs Peruvian Ranking of G-de-Gestión 2017.
