Young people from over 50 countries take part in the IE Business School MiM Games
Young students of over 50 nationalities took part in the IE Business School MiM Games held from June 5 to 8.
It was the first edition of the international tournament, which brought together students from Master in Management programs to participate in sports competitions and enjoy leisure and networking activities in Madrid both throughout the day and at night.
IE Business School organized a busy schedule of sporting and leisure activities which included basketball, archery, beach football, kayaking, human table football, and yoga. In the evening, participants enjoyed a glow party, in which ultra violet lights and florescent clothes and paint made for some great entertainment.
"The event not only fosters friendship through networking meetings, but also raises the profile of MIM programs, which are increasingly popular given that large business organizations see them as very attractive qualifications,” said Professor Kiron Ravindran, Associate Dean of IE Business School’s Master in Management (MIM) program. “The creation of solid professional networks can make the difference between a good career, and an amazing career. This event seeks to help students from around the world develop such networks."
The IE Business School Master in Management was ranked No. 5 worldwide in the latest Financial Times ranking of MIM programs (2013). The program runs for 10 months, and has a student body comprised of students from 53 countries, with an average age of 25, who are just starting out on their career. The MIM program equips participants with a management education and also offers specializations in marketing and sales, international management, financial management, and digital businesses, all of which are aimed at making it easier for graduates to find their place in the labor market.
