        CAREER TRACKS

        After completing your program, you’ll be able to join an additional optional term to specialize in two of the most relevant industries for the Talent Development & Human Resources pathway. During this Career Track from September to December, you’ll enjoy a career-driven curriculum with several practical consulting projects, in-company visits, project-based learning and additional networking opportunities for your job recruitment process. The Career Track will have an additional cost. You can either enroll before joining IE University or while you are doing your master’s degree, up to the deadline that will be communicated by the academic team. We will have limited slots assigned for these two tracks, so the sooner you apply, the better.

          GLOBAL IMMERSION WEEK ​

          Global Immersion Week allows students to explore new cultures, network with leading companies, and gain valuable career insights. This one-week international experience is designed to give you a firsthand look at the career outcomes you can pursue in relevant international business markets. Companies that have partnered with the program in previous years include Google, Ipsos, Amazon, Diageo, and the Financial Times. ​

          Our goal is to nurture the next generation of purpose-driven business professionals who possess a deep sense of responsibility to the planet and society. This weeklong experience will take you to local companies in marketing, communication and sales to work on a client-based project focusing on social impact, entrepreneurship and the HR sector. This unique opportunity will enable you to network with professionals in the industry, gain valuable experience, and inspire your vision of a career that has a positive impact on society. ​

        HR Speaker Series

        Our dynamic masterclasses and panel discussions get you up close and personal with renowned HR executives. Carefully selected speakers visit IE Business School to share their experiences, discuss the professional challenges they encounter and offer leading-edge insights into the future of people and organizations. Themes covered have included Workplace Happiness and Well-being, Redefining Employee Benefits, and Consulting versus In-house Career Paths. This exclusive event series provides a unique opportunity not only to stay ahead of the curve, but to gain invaluable perspectives on the people and trends shaping human resources from inspirational experts at the top of the profession.

        FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

        • The program is structured around three core pillars: Strategic Business, People Management and Talent Development, and HR, AI and Technology.

        • The program is ten months long and is divided into three full-time terms. The terms run from September to December, January to March and April to July. 

        • Every class in the Master in Talent Development & Human Resources includes hands-on experience, and you’ll be working with a top company on a different, real-life HR corporate project each term. In addition, students take on a weeklong, client-based project during our Social Impact Week, and gain valuable business insights during Global Immersion Week.

        • There are several modules focused on tech and AI, how they affect the modern HR field and how you can implement them to drive change in the workplace. 

        • In each term, you’ll work with a different company on a real-life case study as an HR consultant. This forms your termly corporate projects in which you'll analyze and present solutions on a specific topic. 

        • The program has several certifications available for students: the IE Business School Sustainability Certificate, certificates from MyFutureAcademy, and the IE-SalesForce certificate.

        • Yes, the entire program takes place in-person at our classrooms in Madrid.
