Executive MBA

The Executive MBA is a unique curated learning experience for mid-career executives who aspire to lead in the C-suite and beyond. The program is a transformational journey that leverages your strengths, experiences and ambitions to propel you to the pinnacle of your career. 

The Executive MBA includes a series of high-impact Business Sprints which will give you the opportunity to learn new skills in a series of varied challenges and deploy your learning with a major company.

Carefully crafted to balance executive schedules with impactful education, the Executive MBA is focused on cutting-edge Project-Based Learning, with students participating in engaging challenges across a diverse series of industries right from the start of the program.

Leadership development and career guidance is embedded throughout the program. The Board Readiness module and the entrepreneurship or intrapreneurship options in the mastery track in the final program will prepare you for the next stage in your journey.

*Spanish format starts in October. English format has two intakes: September and April.

      Program Structure

      OFFICIAL DEGREE

      Students must meet the following conditions and requirements to be officially enrolled and entitled to request the official university degree upon completion of the master program. If educational prerequisites are not provided and/or if the requirements are not met on time, the student will not be able to request the official university degree as issued by the Spanish government. In this case, the studies will not be official under Spanish educational regulations.

      BUSINESS SPRINTS

      Business Sprints are a key component of your learning in the Executive MBA. Running throughout the program, these practical modules will see you take on real-world challenges for leading brands, giving you the chance to gain invaluable hands-on experience.

      You’ll work with diverse teams and hone your leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills to develop solutions to complex problems in a variety of operational areas.

      MBA Impact Hour

      The MBA Impact Hour is a signature initiative designed to enrich your Executive MBA learning journey beyond the classroom. These regularly scheduled sessions offer powerful opportunities for networking and extracurricular growth during online periods, with occasional in-person editions during face-to-face residential weeks.

      Through three dynamic formats—Speaker Series masterclasses with industry specialists, facilitated Online Networking events for peer connection and My StorIE sessions showcasing fellow students' professional journeys—you'll gain inspiration, explore innovative leadership topics and build meaningful relationships with students across different programs, complementing and enriching the formal curriculum.

      ​The Executive MBA has an important focus on personalized executive and career coaching for all students. Throughout the program, you’ll work with a personal executive coach to unlock your potential. First, you’ll together convert your objectives into a Personal Development Plan. Your executive coach will then oversee your journey through regular one-to-one sessions, ensuring that the plan is working for you and strategizing the best steps you can take to further heighten your impact. In the latter part of the program, a career coach with expertise in your field will guide you, offering the personalized, industry-specific advice that is right for you. Leadership development is embedded throughout the MBA program to ensure your personal and professional development growth.

        Global Immersion Week

        Global Immersion Week (GIW) offers you the chance to broaden your perspective on international business markets by visiting your choice of one of four destinations. During this week-long study tour, you’ll attend masterclasses, pay visits to local companies, and have the chance to network with local and global students from different part-time MBA programs – all while enjoying the opportunity to explore new cultures.

        GLOBAL NETWORK FOR ADVANCED MANAGEMENT WEEK

        The Global Network for Advanced Management Week (GNAM) offers the opportunity to study at another business school from our international network. You’ll attend classes, visit local businesses and meet other Executive MBA students from different schools around the world, offering a unique opportunity to expand your professional horizons and global network.

        Students are invited to bid on their preferred GNAM location, and destinations are then allocated by the Selection Committee based on their performance and motivational essay, as well as the number of spaces available. (While every effort is made to accommodate participants’ preferences, please note that students may not be allocated their first choice.)

      FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

      • The program is divided into three terms combining online learning with in-person residential weeks. Term 1 builds business fundamentals. Term 2 focuses on applying knowledge through Business Sprints. Term 3 offers specialization with Mastery Tracks and prepares students for executive-level decision-making through the Board Readiness module.

      • Term 1 covers core business and leadership fundamentals. Term 2 emphasizes practical, real-world application through projects. Term 3 focuses on strategic thinking, entrepreneurship or intrapreneurship, and boardroom-level leadership.

      • Yes. In the final term, students choose from Mastery Tracks such as entrepreneurship or intrapreneurship, allowing them to tailor their learning to their goals.

      • Students can opt into Global Immersion Week or Global Network Week, which offer international travel, masterclasses, and company visits in business hubs worldwide. In the Global Executive MBA format, international experiences are mandatory, with residential periods in places like Oxford, Singapore, and Los Angeles.

      • Leadership development is continuous and includes executive and career coaching, leadership bootcamps, and personal development planning. It also includes experiential learning activities and leadership-focused modules that help students build influence, resilience, and purpose-driven strategies.
