IE Business School has announced the launch of the Global BBA, a four-year multi-campus program designed for students from around the world that combines coursework with real-world corporate projects and the development of professional networks to accelerate their careers. The program, whose first intake will begin in September 2026, enables students to study in Madrid, Dubai, and Singapore, with the option to complete their final year in New York City, where they will gain exposure to diverse business ecosystems and global economic perspectives.

"We’re proud to launch the first truly global BBA, a program that goes beyond a multi-location experience. This isn't just a BBA taught in multiple countries – it's the first BBA designed from the ground up to be global.," said Lee Newman, Dean of IE Business School, "Students will build capabilities in global foresight and regional intelligence and develop the cross-cultural fluency required to work in diverse teams, navigate globally dispersed organizations, and lead, communicate, and influence in a world that does not operate from a single headquarters."

Conceived for students seeking a global undergraduate experience, the program integrates core business coursework with experiential learning opportunities such as Corporate Challenges & Sprints, Regional Business Treks, and Global Summer Experiences. In the Global Foresight and Regional Intelligence module, students will explore how geopolitics, demographics, technology, and social change are reshaping business and learn to analyze patterns and anticipate disruption.

Students will gain early industry exposure, applied project experience, and opportunities to build professional networks across multiple regions. During the four-year program, students will develop core business foundations while gaining experience across different global regions:

  • 1st Year in Madrid: Students will build a foundation in finance, marketing, economics, data, and management while strengthening communication, leadership, and technological skills. Through the Global Career Development Program and IEU Labs, students will engage with real companies and applied projects while developing a global outlook shaped by European and African business contexts.
  • 2nd Year in Dubai: Students will deepen their knowledge in corporate finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship while participating in business sprints and industry-led challenges. Career development initiatives, and regional networking opportunities will support immersion in the Middle East’s dynamic economic environment.
  • 3rd Year in Singapore: The academic focus will expand to operations, supply chain, and human capital management, alongside electives such as sustainability, digital transformation, and entrepreneurship. Students will work on IE Challenges and explore Asia-Pacific markets through region-specific business experiences.
  • 4th Year in New York: Students will specialize through advanced electives in areas such as strategy, digital business, sustainability, or finance while completing advanced projects and global learning experiences. Those choosing New York City may pursue a 3+1 pathway aligned with future master’s studies, combining undergraduate completion with exposure to one of the world’s major business centers.

"IE Business School’s Global BBA offers our students a transformative and multi-regional academic journey where the world becomes their classroom," commented Manuel Muñiz, Rector of IE University and Chair of the Board of Trustees of IE New York College. "Our collaboration with our strategic partners allows students to gain applied insights alongside international perspectives, providing a robust and contextualized learning experience where global business concepts are examined within regional and international business frameworks."

The Global BBA reflects IE Business School’s commitment to preparing globally minded leaders through academic excellence, international mobility, and experiential learning. By rotating across major business hubs, students will gain first-hand exposure to regional markets, cultural dynamics, and global economic trends while developing the skills required to lead across industries and borders.
