IE Business School Holds First Midsummer Party for All Masters Students
MBA and all masters students celebrated summer, had some fun, and got to know each other.
IE Business School held the first Midsummer Party ever, welcoming more than 600 masters students, faculty and staff to network and celebrate the beginning of summer.
The event, designed to offer an opportunity for different programs to mingle, took place at Fortuny Home Club, a private venue which welcomed 580 students and 20 IE staff members. The event included music and show, as well as a cocktail dinner and open bar.
According to Mauricio Fernandez Vivas, Associate Director of Program Experience Innovation, the objective behind the party was to create a space for students to celebrate, gather and create connections across the business school.
“Our goal is to regularly offer opportunities for students to create connections within the broader IE Community and outside of their specific programs,” he said.
“Students at different points in their lives, some of them graduating and others in the middle of their programs, don’t usually interact with each other. We are all part of IE.”
