IE Foundation to hold sixth Prizes in the Humanities
The IE Foundation Prizes in the Humanities will host its sixth edition.

The IE Foundation announced the sixth edition of the Prizes in the Humanities will take place next year, designed to foment and recognize the creative talent within the IE community.

Three winners will be selected for the best written works (poetry, short story, and short essay in English or Spanish) and audiovisual works (photography and video) from IE students, alumni, faculty and staff.

“The humanities are the foundation of the society. I believe that the humanities make better persons, better leaders, more understanding individuals,” emphasized Diego Alcazar Silvela founder of IE University and president of the jury.

Each work will be evaluated by juries specialized in each field. Entries will be accepted until May 15th, 2021. The juries will then meet in June and July and winners will then be announced. The Award Ceremony is scheduled for September.

“Sensitivity for the humanities completes us as individuals and betters our way of interacting with the world,”
Victoria Gimeno, Director of Institutional Relations at IE University
