Eduardo Morcillo, Managing Partner of InterChina Capital Partners, joined IE Business School’s LinkedIn Live to share insights and key takeaways from the survey of more than 300 senior executives in Asia about corporate trends in China and the role of China in the world.

Hosted by Mark Smelik, Associate Dean Bachelor in Business Administration at IE University, the event focused on how international players and Chinese global investors are adapting their acquisitions and divestments strategies to the current situation.

“This is a really important event because what we want to do across the globe is to bring in very credible experts to help us understand the world better. As an international university with an international student body this is a great opportunity to give us a better understanding of what is happening in China in the business and political environment.”

“For people getting out of university and MBA schools, you will enter a reality where China is everywhere. Eighty percent of whatever you do, you will find China. I think China is going to be everywhere and understanding what is happening there will be very relevant,” emphasized Morcillo.

Morcillo then shared key insights from the survey, which was followed by an audience Q&A. Viewers were able to ask a variety of questions about China’s future and how this will impact other countries.
