Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) & Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications by UPM (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid).
Advanced Marketing Strategy Executive Program in ESADE, and Executive International Digital Business Seminar in Harvard.
Married with 5 kids, always eager to learn new things, move out from her comfort zone, and strong leader and team player.
Experience
Started her career in the Bioengineer and Telemedicine R+D Sector, in the Clinica Puerta de Hierro laboratory (1995-1997), with different innovation European products around the first ideas to digitalize the clinic history.
Then she moved to the telco industry, to Vodafone (formerly Airtel), developing different roles (1997-2013): starting in technology as Product&Services Engineer, then Public Policy & Operators relations Manager, CEO business manager and finally head of CRM.
Since 2013 she is the Digital Director for L’Oréal Spain, leading all cross initiatives to boost and integrate digital in the day to day business, and also responsible for building and evolving the Consumer data ecosystem and leading the change of L’Oréal to a data driven marketing company.
Maite is mentor for L’Oréal Spain in the program Stem Talent Girl, as part of L’Oréal global initiative “For Women in Science”.
