Nepal Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) '15 My word for IE University: Surprising
I was born in Nepal and lived and studied in my hometown of Kathmandu all my life before coming to IE University to study.
I chose business because it is a very versatile subject that can be integrated into whichever professional sector I choose. However, nowadays business is constantly changing and the ability to adapt to that change has to be reflected by every student coming out of university. IE University has a business program that does exactly that: it combines its courses with yearly internships, an innovative and practical teaching methodology is used rather than only providing theory, and it has an amazingly integrated community of individuals who have distinct thoughts that reflect their diverse international backgrounds.
My time at IE University has made me feel more aware of my abilities and my shortcomings. I have been challenged, as a student and as a person living in a community that is completely different from my background. At the same time I have been appreciated for the effort I have put in and have learnt to appreciate the efforts of others. This, I feel, will help me reach my goal of being a professional with an appreciation for everything around me.
