Junior Advisory Board
Junior Advisory Board
The Junior Advisory Board is a highly selective group of pre-university students, who advise IE University about the future of university education. The board is made of members who are still in high school so that IE can understand and appreciate the expectations of the rising university student and incorporate their excitement and insight into its dynamic educational programs.
The members of the Junior Advisory Board are selected for their diverse interests, novel accomplishments and insights which defy their young years. They serve as joint representatives of their communities to IE University, and also of IE University in their communities.
Junior Advisory Board members represent five regions of the world: Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and United States of America.
They are expected to attend an annual board meeting in Madrid and Segovia and an online forum. In both settings, they contribute their ideas about the ways in which IE University can understand and therefore market to the university-bound student. The board members serve a term of two years, subject to an option to be nominated again.
At the completion of the first term of service, if a board member has demonstrated outstanding commitment, true leadership and given true insight, they will qualify for consideration for a partial scholarship (80%) to IE University.
All travel and lodging costs related to Junior Advisory Board meetings will be covered by IE University.
The next edition of IE University’s Junior Advisory Board takes place in Spring 2012. IE University is currently accepting applications for the Junior Advisory Board. Applications will be accepted until December 22nd, 2011.
