IE University takes an applied, hands-on and student-centered approach to education. Because our students have unique aspirations and career goals, their study path is also personalized. Students follow a tailored academic track that consists of the core degree courses, electives, specific internships, as well as advanced seminars and a final degree project of their choice, guided by an Advisor.

 

Your Advisor

At the center of the educational experience at IE University is the student Advisor. Advisors guide students in a personalized way throughout their university life to ensure that students achieve their personal, academic and professional goals. The Advisors are highly skilled and experienced academics, senior managers and top professionals in a variety of corporations and international organizations.

 

Concentrations

The Bachelor in Business Administration at IE University offers the following Concentrations:

 

Consultant

Study the role of a consultant to advise and assess in a variety of business areas for companies, organizations or individuals.

Entrepreneurship

Learn to launch and manage your own business and brand, to differentiate from competitors, plan and design your product or service for a target market.

Finance

Specialize in effectively managing financial resources, as well as assessment, investment management, risk evaluation, and allocation of financial resources.

General Management

Focus on the development of people within an organization and enhance your strategic leadership skills.

International Business

Gain experience in international management and further your language skills through a set of courses specifically designed to give you a specialist insight into areas of global business. This concentration is taught exclusively in the Segovia campus (years 3 and 4).

Market Research

Learn how to become a business intelligence partner, analyzing quantitative and qualitative information related to consumer insight, market dynamics, brands and products.

Marketing

Learn to design and market a service or product and develop sales strategies for a diverse international market.

International Relations

Study the connections between politics and businesses in a global economy that is more connected and interdependent than ever.

Note: Concentrations will be offered contingent on a minimum number of students.
