Bart Wauters is professor of European Legal History at IE Law School. He was researcher and professor of legal history and Roman law in the law schools of the universities of Louvain and Antwerp in Belgium for more than 8 years. His research domain includes history of human rights, history of the concept of property, history of legal theory, and history of the law governing the relations between Church and State. He has published books and internationally reviewed articles in these domains. He’s an expert in public affairs, lobby and institutional relations.
