Ignacio Moreno obtained the title of architect from ETSAM (1992) and his Ph.D. in Architecture from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (ES) (2004). He began his professional career as an architect in the office of Juan Navarro Baldeweg, with whom he collaborated on several competitions, projects and works. Between 1996 and 2006, he was Project Director of the architects’ society ACXT, part of the IDOM group, with which he won numerous competitions such as the restoration of the Pious Schools of San Antón in Madrid, the Services Building of Cordoba Airport and UPM’s Technological Research Center in Getafe. As of May 2006, he worked independently in his own studio. In December 2007, he was appointed Architect-Curator of the Spanish Senate.
