Julián García got his Ph.D. in the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (ES) with a thesis on construction in India. Professor at IE University since 2000, he combines research and teaching with an international professional career linked to large building companies and engineering offices. He is also member of the British Construction History Society and the International Association for the Study of Traditional Environments. As a professor he has lectured, besides India and Spain, in different countries such as Great Britain, France, Germany and Italy. His interests focus on construction history and also on the evolution of traditional environments due to global changes.
