Benedikt Seigner

Benedikt (David Christian) Seigner is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at IE University. His research examines how social factors and bias shape who gets rewarded and recognized in entrepreneurship. He draws on theory rooted in sociology and methods from economics, and his work has appeared in outlets such as Journal of Business Venturing, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice. Before becoming a professor, Benedikt was a competitive ballroom and Latin-American dancer.
