Pablo Marco is a passionate of digital entrepreneurship and humanitarian aid.
He has leaded some of Médecins Sans Frontières largest humanitarian operations in the last 10 years. He worked as country director in a dozen countries, including Yemen, Haiti, Central African Republic and Democratic Republic of Congo. Between 2014 and 2017, he was Middle East regional director, leading Médecins Sans Frontières teams working in the conflicts in Syria, Yemen, Iraq and its neighbors. He managed a team of more than 1,000 professionals with a budget of €38 million. Nature journal featured the team’s pioneering work in data science in humanitarian aid. Pablo has also served as member of Médecins Sans Frontières Spanish board of directors.
In 2005 he founded Iguana Sell, one of the first Spanish e-commerce companies. In 2019 he founded Fáktica Analytics, a startup that uses data science and automation to improve digital marketing campaigns.
Pablo is a mining and industrial engineer by training. He holds a Master in Public Administration at Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
