Paloma Martínez de Velasco Helain

Paloma Martínez de Velasco is a professor at IE University in the area of Human Resources and Organizational Behavior, where she teaches courses on leadership, communication, and professional skills. She combines her academic experience with a solid background in the corporate world.

She began her professional career as a legal counsel at L’Oréal and Grupo Santillana de Ediciones. In 2007, she made a major career shift by founding Alcuadrado Desarrollo Personal, through which she has guided professionals and teams in their personal development within complex and multicultural environments. She designs and delivers interpersonal skills training programs in for leading companies and educational institutions.

Passionate about theatre, she has integrated its techniques into her teaching and consulting practice to enhance people’s communication skills. She is skilled at maintaining focus on achieving objectives and creating an atmosphere of trust—essential for any process of change and growth. Enthusiastic and creative, she seeks to help individuals strengthen their abilities and engage actively in their own evolution.
