Cristina Acevedo
My name is Cristina Acevedo, but everyone calls me Cris. After living in London for a few years, I decided to return to Spain and now I couldn't be happier. I’m currently studying the Dual Degree in Business Administration and Design at IE University’s campus in Segovia. This beautiful city offers a thousand opportunities and is located just 45 minutes away from the Spanish capital. In my free time, I indulge in my passion for photography as a member of IE University’s Photography Club, and I also enjoy running on the stunning trails around Segovia. I don’t know what the future holds, but I am deeply in love with what I’m studying at the moment and look forward to building an enjoyable career out of it.
“The program allows you to develop your most creative abilities and helps you create and shape new ideas.”
Cristina Acevedo is a determined up-and-coming professional with a flair for creativity and artistic expression. As a Spanish native who spent several years in London, she wanted a university experience that would reflect her international mindset. IE University gave her the opportunity to join a prestigious international school with a modern approach to education, while still being close to her family and friends.
“IE University was undoubtedly the best option for me, with a unique atmosphere that provided proximity to my family and friends.”
IE University offered her the perfect multidisciplinary program to develop her interests: the Dual Degree in Business Administration and Design. “They are two totally different worlds but they complement each other in a wonderful way,” she says.
IE University’s diverse, collaborative atmosphere immediately made Cristina feel at home and she is very happy with her choice of degree. “The program allows you to develop your most creative abilities and helps you create and shape new ideas.” The hands-on approach has allowed her to learn not only fundamental business concepts that will serve her throughout her career but also how to apply this knowledge in more artistic design environments.
