I was a student in the first international relations class at IE University. I remember the uncertainty I felt during my first academic year; I could have never imagined finishing first in my class or the amount of opportunities that IE would give me. For example, I worked for seven months as an advisor to the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs in Madrid, and spent nine months at the United Nations headquarters in New York. During my stay in New York, I had the honor of witnessing a historic moment: the last speech of President Barack Obama at the United Nations.
Elena is a student with a specialization degree in the International Relations degree from IE University. Remembers her time at the university with nostalgia and thanks the university and teachers for enriching her experience.
