This weekend, over 650 IE University alumni from 60 countries participated in the Global Alumni Weekend 2022 at IE Tower, the university's new campus in Madrid.
This year's participants analyzed the challenges facing the business community in the aftermath of the pandemic and the social and economic impact COVID-19 has had on the world. They also discussed new trends in technology and the future of social innovation. Graduates from IE's five schools joined the Deans and Vice-Deans of IE Business School, IE Law School, IE School of Global & Public Affairs, IE School of Sciences & Technology and IE School of Architecture & Design, alongside IE professors and senior executives from the business world.
“The event has been an especially proud occasion this year and it was exciting to be back together in person at our new campus, IE Tower, and to return to the tradition of celebrating our community and its business and personal accomplishments,” said Julia Sanchez, Director of IE Global Alumni Relations.
“It was also a fantastic opportunity to welcome our alumni, who joined us from around the world; our faculty who provided highly interesting content, and our current students all with the aim of fostering networking and further strengthening our sense of community.”
