Casimiro Juanes

Head of Learning & Development | Ericsson Group IT

Casimiro Juanes has been an adjunct professor at IE Business School for more than seven years, where he’s taught digital innovation and disruption, cybersecurity and digital innovation, and digital transformation and digital business models in executive MBA programs (IE Brown Executive MBA and Global Executive MBA).

Over the course of his 23-year career dedicated to IT and security, Casimiro has held numerous roles of increasing responsibility at Ericsson, one of the major global telecommunications leaders. Currently, Casimiro is the Head of Learning & Development within Ericsson Group IT, where he drives change management and education programs to enhance the business transformation at Ericsson, expanding the focus to people, skills and abilities, added to his technological and business profile.

Previously, he led diverse teams as Head of IT Region Mediterranean, acting Head of IT for EMEA and Head of Security Region Mediterranean, delivering services to more than 14,000 Ericsson employees in 26 countries. Prior to that, he was head of IT Security for Ericsson, which he managed from their corporate headquarters in Stockholm. Casimiro is also a member of the board of directors of Blueliv, an innovative provider of data and IT security services.

With his extensive experience in business and IT, Casimiro brings a business strategy perspective to Digital Transformation, Innovation and IT decisions. Casimiro is an accomplished leader with expertise in digital innovation and transformation, technology and IT management, IT security, risk management, compliance and IT audit.
