Gina Diez Barroso

Gina Diez Barroso is a successful businesswoman, entrepreneur and philanthropist. She is the founder and president of Dalia Empower, a global lifelong learning project dedicated to the career advancement of women as well as Grupo Diarq, one of the leading international design, architecture and real estate development companies in Mexico and the United States. Gina is also the founder of Centro University, the leading university in Mexico focused exclusively on creative studies, with a strong emphasis on business and entrepreneurship (it offers seven bachelor degrees, 20 masters degrees and more than 200 courses to over 3,000 students).

Gina is an active board member of several companies and an advisor for numerous organizations, both in Mexico and around the world. She is the Mexican representative at Women 20—the G20 engagement group focused on gender equity—and was also appointed as Mexico’s private sector representative at EMPOWER, an initiative reporting directly to the G20. Gina is a member of the Women President Organization, and the only Latin American member of C200—a group of the world’s most powerful female business leaders—and the Global Women Business Leadership Organization.
