Valentín Díez Morodo

Chairman of the Board of the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology

He was born in Mexico. He has a Bachelor Degree and was the first graduate in Business Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana (Mexico City) with a recognition, He also obtained a Master Degree in Marketing, Sales and Human Resources at the Michigan University of Ann Arbor.

Currently he is Chairman of the Advisory Board of Grupo Modelo as part of AB InBev Group, the largest brewer group worldwide, and he is well known as the main responsible for the success of Modelo’s beers in the international market.  He is also Vice Chairman of Kimberly Clark de México, S.A.B. de C.V.

He is Chairman of the Grupo Financiero Citibanamex, S.A. de C.V.

He is also a member of the Board of the following enterprises: Grupo Kuo, Grupo Dine, Grupo Aeroméxico, Zara México and INstituto de Empresa.

He is Chairman of the Board of the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology (Consejo Empresarial Mexicano de Comercio Exterior, Inversión y Tecnología) and Chairman of its Mexico-Spain Bilateral Business Committee.

He is Chairman of the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness (Instituto Mexicano para la Competitividad) and the Assembly of Associates of Universidad Iberoamericana (UIAC).

He is member of the Mexican Business Council (CMN), Chairman of the Patronage Committee of the House of Mexico in Spain Foundation in Madrid, Spain.
