Eduardo Hochschild

Chairman of Hochschild Group

Eduardo Hochschild is a Peruvian entrepreneur who is the head and principal shareholder of the Hochschild Group, a conglomerate of companies focusing on gold and silver mining, cement production and phosphates development.  Also is the Founder and Chairman of UTEC, a new Engineering University, and the Chairman of TECSUP, the leading technical education institute in Peru.

He also is a Board Member of International Leadership Board of Cleveland Clinic, MoMa’s Latin American and Caribbean Fund and the Peruvian Catholic Church Economic Advisory Council, Dean’s Advisory Council of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), among several other corporate and philanthropic activities.

He has a mechanical engineering degree from Tufts University and is a collector of modern and contemporary art.
