IE University celebrates the graduation of 600 students hailing from more than 70 countries with astronaut Cady Coleman’s masterclass
The digital immersive event was held from the Aula Magna of the IE University campus in Segovia.
IE University has celebrated the graduation of 600 students from the IE Business School and IE Law School master programs, and hailing from more than 70 countries, with a lecture by astronaut Cady Coleman. A NASA scientist who has participated in two space missions during her career, Coleman has given the master class at IE University’s graduation ceremony, projected from the Aula Magna of the Segovia campus. “This year you have learned more than you ever could have imagined,” astronaut Coleman has reminded the IE University student. The ceremony was also attended by undergraduate and graduate students from 140 countries, as well as professors and staff members.
“I am honored to be part of the IE University family today and congratulate the graduates of IE Business School and IE Law School. You have made so many steps to get to where you are today. It’s the same for astronauts: suddenly there we are sitting on top of the rocket ready to launch into space. And I hope that you feel that way as well. I think there are lots of parallels between our worlds,” Dr. Coleman told her virtual audience around the world.
