Begum Celiktutan

Dr. Begum Celiktutan is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at IE University. Her research focuses on judgment and decision-making, particularly in the areas of social judgements and the differences in the way consumers perceive themselves and others. She explores these topics in societally relevant domains such as technology, sustainability, inequality, and well-being.

Her research has been published in leading academic journals, including the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) and the International Journal of Research in Marketing (IJRM). She has presented her research at numerous international conferences.

Before joining IE University, she earned a Ph.D. in Marketing Management from Erasmus University. During her doctoral studies, she was also a visiting researcher at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
