Cristina Camarero Espinosa
Cristina Camarero Espinosa is an expert Litigator and Arbitrator, Partner and Head of the Litigation and Arbitration Department on ONTIER, where she coordinates and manages the highest profile and most complex cases handled by the firm.
She coordinates and supervises the litigation and arbitration team and takes responsibility for their professional development in the firm.
In the last few years, she has especially focused on director’s liability cases, advocating in the largest and highest-profile director’s liability case of all times, which comprised a claim for 1.6 billion euros.
She also works on cases related to corporate disputes (challenges in corporate agreements; breaches of contracts between shareholders and joint ventures), contract disputes (agency, distribution and franchise contracts), distribution channels, liability in the construction sector, companies sales, fundamental rights and inheritance law, industrial and intellectual property, etc.
A further area of expertise of Mrs Camarero is Matrimonial Law. Since this is not one of the firm’s main areas of practice, she takes care of only special cases which are highly complex and relevant.
She also takes part in tasks related to the firm’s internal organisation including Business Development and HR.
She’s a Litigation and Arbitration lecturer at the CEU, the IE Law School and the Nebrija University.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time in nature and practicing sports, especially skiing.
